A Flower For All Seasons
It's all very well going through watching those TV style gurus and
picking out the exact flowers you want, but don't forget they may
not be in season (they're repeated - we're always live!). Just like
cherries and strawberries, you can always get almost any flower
throughout the year, but you will pay for it in price, longevity
and quality.
The majority of "out-of-season" flowers are "blooms in the desert"
or "blooms under glass", literally grown in the Sahara or under
vast greenhouses and cut, chilled and flown all around the world to
end up forming part of your perfect bouquet.
This is not to say that there's anything wrong with them, but not
everyone's a millionaire and in today's ever more demanding world,
brides want to make their floral choices natural and in keeping
with the time of year.
